The Border

Steele was out patrolling his land as he passed by, his hazel green eyes glaring over to the hunters, god he hated them so much. They killed his mother, growling to himself he continued to make his way, he wasn't stupid enough to shift into his wolf form. He ran his arm through his wavy hair as he continued walking on noticing they had not trespassed and if they had they wouldn't make it back out alive.

Stricken with anger, Hope walked alone down the path that led to her village, strands of her hair whispping up behind her , her feet making no noise as each one came into contact with the ground. Pushing her fingers through her tangling her hair into clumps before dropping her hand to her side and her hair falling back into place along her head, her mossy green eyes were glazed over and she fought the urge to cry, Klaus and her mother were gone, Klaus was off living in New Orleans, ruling like he had always wanted and her mother, well, her mother had passed away a few months after her birth. She wanted to scream to the world all her sorrows but she had locked away her emotions all those years ago, keeping to herself mostly.. She had her fathers attitude and yearnings to be respected.

The Alpha climbed a tree and sat there, his leg swinging off as he gazed off into the territory. His eyes held no emotion but his thoughts were different. He knew the Silver Bullets leader wasn't human he could because he himself was werewolves and werewolves could sense other werewolves,vampires and witches but her... she reeked of different kinds. He narrowed his eyes, what could they planning those pathetic humans and what was the leaders plans because he knew she was holding a fasade and a good one at that if none of her members had figured her out. He closed his eyes for a split second before opening them as he breathed out heavily.

Hope heaved a great heavy sigh, her arms folding across her chest as she slowed her pace and began a slow walk instead of her quick step. "Bloody humans" she muttered to herself before walking to a large oak and slumping down into roots, pulling her knees up close to her chest. This was her usual spot to come and hide from everyone, her other spot was farther away but she decided this would be best.

Steele looked around hearing something as one of the advantages of being a werewolf was hightened senses. He jumped down looking around until he saw a figure under an oak hugging it's knees. Quickly as he narrowed his eyes he found out who it was, it was Hope. He leaned against the tree a light smirk playing on his face as he was out in plain sight to be seen but yet was still on his territory, "What really are you?" he said watching her, "Don't bother lying to me" he said raising an eyebrow

Hearing you she looked up at you, her mossy eyes narrowed at you, a smirk playing on her lips. "What am I? your a werewolf, can't you figure that out, or do my scents get your nose in a twist" her words were leaking with a playful, but harsh tone.. Pushing hey knees down, laying her legs flat against the ground. "If that is the case then I will share with you my blood, I am the daughter of an Original, I have Wolf blood intertwined with witch and vampire"

He watched her with no emotion as he spoke, his thoughts had been right. He chuckled but yet it sounded emotionless, "As my assumption were correct then" he said still leaning against the tree, "I knew you were werewolf and vampire but witch" he said trailing off, "Your probably one of the last witches since I haven't seen them since" he said shrugging trying to think, "Hmm years ago I suppose I could say." He said smirking, "It's surprise your head ins't on a stick right now and your fellow human followers chanting rude words" he said his eyes holding mirth, "'But yet you've managed to fool them which quite funny if I do say so myself" he said finishing off with a flat tone

Her lips curled up into a wicked smile. "They wouldn't dare do that to their leader, after all, I am more powerful then all of them put together." She heaved a sigh and rolled her neck before resting her mossy eyes on you. "Maybe even more so then you... or your pack" she chuckled "Don't worry, I won't step a paw on your territory, I have forbidden my men to do that... Your lucky your head isnt' on a stick though" she said drumming her fingers against her knees

"You shouldn't underestimate them, every ones different as so are their skill" he said still holding his signature smirk as he yawned, "Make sure they don't" he then said with a harsh tone, "Won't want their blood to be spilled but then again would you care?" he said humor hitting the end of his words. He then chuckled darkly, "As you shouldn't underestimate your humans much less me" he said eyes flickering with darkness,.

"tsk, tsk." she clicked her tongue as she stood. "I don't underestimate any of my opponents let alone one that has similar blood to I" as she spoke she pushed herself to her feet and brushed her skirt off. The proceeded to comb her fingers through her hair. "What is your name? Alpha.."

He smirked, "Then don't hint it" he said eyeing her as he moved from the tree so he was in between two now. His eyes held no emotion now, as he cocked an eyebrow. "Well that's none of your concern... Hope" he said putting no emotion into his words as he leaned against the other tree

"Oh boo" she said flatly. "I can see past your no emotions boundary." yawning, Hope stretched her arms above her head. "Why so hostile Alpha? have I done you wrong?" As she spoke she shuffled her feet in the dirt, her eyes drifting downwards.

He smirked letting out another emotionless chuckle as he narrowed his eyes at her just watching her before he spoke, "Good I wasn't hiding it" he said flatly, "Hostile, well you see I don't like your kind that you 'lead'" he said putting quotation marks around lead. "It's a shame though, your blood you could have lead anything but instead you chose those pathetic humans" he said shaking his head, anger boiling his hate for human hunters showing but was gone in a flash as he relaxed.

She parted her lips as she sighed. "Listen, I honest could care less in what you or anyone else thinks of me, I am what I am and I do what I do for reasons" Her words coated in venom leaked from her very soul, stepping out of the roots she moved towards the path. "Mistrust isn't something we should have."

"Who says I think bad about you" he said bluntly as he smirked lightly, "Assumptions should be made... just yet" he said his tone holding a glint of coldness. "Mistrust or not... I trust no one but my very pack" he said before walking into the shadows, "See you around" he said. "Hope."

"hmm" she uttered the soft noise as she watched you leave the area, taking great care of where she placed her footing she began to venture back towards the silver bullet's village, she had met one of her blood, well, half her blood.. no, more like three quarters.. Whatever it was, they were supposed brethren
